Product Description, Part 1

UV MASTER 1
Combination of polymeric HALS, benzophenone and antioxidant, recommended for the anti-UV stabilisation of LDPE and LLDPE agricoltural films of medium/long duration. The additivated film is practically colourless. Food approved.

UV MASTER 2
Polymeric HALS-based concentrate, developed for the anti-UV stabilisation of LDPE and LLDPE films for one season (one winter). This masterbatch is also used for thermal polyethylene films and for the light stabilisation of transparent goods with a thickness of less than 100 micra (stretch, shrink and mulch film). Food approved.

UV MASTER 3
Combination of Ni-Quencher, benzophenone and antioxidant. Recommended for the anti-UV stabilisation of LDPE and LLDPE in the manufacture of shrink-wrapped covers and long-life agricultural films, due to its properties and inertia to sulphur-based pesticides. The additivated film has a greenish colour.

UV MASTER 4
Combination of HALS, benzophenone and antioxidant in a copolymer with a high VA content. This masterbatch has been developed for the transformation of EVA where the mechanical properties and transparency of the manufactured product need to be preserved. Food approved.

GREENHOUSE FILMS - FORMULATIONS MORE RESISTANT TO PESTICIDES

UV MASTER 5
Masterbatch containing an innovative HALS with a low PKA value which renders it more resistant to pesticides, in combination with new UV absorbers, one of which is featured with a slow migration. This masterbatch is recommended for long-life films of up to four seasons.

UV MASTER 6
Innovative masterbatch containing a mixture of two recently developed HALS which are more resistant to pesticides than traditional HALS. Its use is recommended for critical agricultural applications, for example the cultivation of grapes or roses, where large quantities of burnt or powdered sulphur are used. Also recommended for silver/black or white/black coextruded mulch films.

UV MASTER 7
Combination of Ni-Quencher, HALS with a low PKA value, benzophenone and antioxidant in LDPE. This masterbatch secures HALS anti-UV performances and Ni-Quencher inertia to pesticides. High antioxidant feature where the film touches the greenhouse.

HDPE MONOFILAMENTS - HDPE AND PP RAFFIA

UV MASTER 8
Combination of monomeric and polymeric HALS (20%) in a HDPE carrier, particularly recommended for the anti-UV stabilisation of HDPE monofilaments, raffia and films. This formulation has been especially designed for low thickness products, with particular attention paid to the extraction of additives both by weather agents and during the extrusion process. The additive does not affect the colour of the end-product.

UV MASTER 9
Combination of HALS and UV Absorber with a low water carry-over in the production of HDPE film and raffia. Food approved.

UV MASTER 10
High concentration (20%) combination of polymeric and monomeric HALS in a polypropylene carrier, designed for use in polypropylene film and raffia.
This masterbatch has no adverse effect on film transparency. The different solubilities of the HALS make this the best anti-UV stabiliser currently available on the market.

UV MASTER 11
Special formulation (20% HALS) designed to solve the problem of water carry-over during polypropylene film extrusion. This undesirerable phenomenon is due to the polarity of the anti-UV additives and can be exacerbated by hard water and by raw materials containing lubricant agents.

UV MASTER 12
Combination of HALS and UV Absorber with a low water carry-over in the production of PP film and raffia. Food approved.

FOOD PACKAGING EXTRUSION

UV MASTER 13
UV masterbatch containing a special extra-fine titanium dioxide which by reflecting the harmful UV rays protects both the film itself and the contents of the package. This product has the great advantage of not being migratory and is, therefore, stable, odourless, hygienically safe and non-toxic.

PP MULTIFILAMENT EXTRUSION

UV MASTER 14
Masterbatch with a high concentration of polymeric HALS (20%) dispersed in polypropylene. Designed for the anti-UV stabilisation of PP multifilaments.

HDPE AND PP INJECTION MOULDING AND SHEET EXTRUSION

UV MASTER 15
Monomeric HALS dispersed in HDPE, designed for technical moulding and for sheet and pipe extrusion. This masterbatch does not affect the final colour of the end-product.

UV MASTER 16

HALS dispersed in polypropylene, suitable for technical moulding and for sheet extrusion. Besides not affecting the basic colour of the end-product, this masterbatch is designed for any product exposed to intense external stress.

STYRENIC AND TECHNOPOLYMER INJECTION MOULDING AND EXTRUSION

UV MASTER 17
Synergetic combination based on HALS, benzotriazole and antioxidant dispersed in polystyrene. When used as an anti-UV stabiliser in crystal polystyrene, this masterbatch does not affect its transparency.

UV MASTER 18
Combination of HALS and benzotriazole dispersed in SAN, suggested for the stabilisation of SAN and ABS.

UV MASTER 19
Combination based on benzotriazole and antioxidant, designed for the anti-UV stabilisation of acetalic resins.

UV MASTER 20
HALS combined with a specific blend of antioxidants, designed for the anti-UV protection of PA 6 and PA 6,6. The synergetic formulation makes this masterbatch ideal for applications of nylon reinforced with glass fibre.

UV MASTER 21
Dispersion of UV absorber in PET. This masterbatch is used to protect the contents of bottles which would otherwise be degraded by light.

UV MASTER 22
Concentrate based on a special UV Absorber and HALS, specific for the extrusion of PET fibres.

UV MASTER 23
Combination of benzotriazole and antioxidant, specific for polycarbonate anti-UV stabilisation.

UV MASTER 24
Dispersion of benzotriazole and antioxidant specific for PMMA

ANTIOXIDANTS

ANTIOX 1
Masterbatch recommended for use during machinery shut-down to prevent the degradation of the polymer. Its use enables an easier machinery start-up, particularly in the film sector.

ANTIOX 2
Combination of antioxidants recommended for the processing of LDPE and HDPE when long processing cycles are being employed at high temperatures. Also recommended for the processing of recycled or substandard material.

ANTIOX 3
Synergetic combination of antioxidants in a polypropylene carrier, which has a permanent effect on products exposed to high temperatures during use.
Especially recommended for mineral filler based compounds.

ANTIOX 4
Special bend with high phosphite concentration. This masterbatch is recommended for application of technical articles using polyolefin resins (LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE and PP) with high processing temperatures.

ANTIOX 5
Antioxidant dispersion with high molecular weight (20%) specific for PA 6 and PA 6,6.

ANTIOX 6
Masterbatch with high antioxidant concentration specific for PA 6 and PA 6,6, suggested for technical moulding where the end product mechanical features have to be respected.
